The Phalaborwa United Team was officially launched on May 17, 2024, at Sefapano, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey. The team purchased the status of Lulekane Classic (Hollywoodbets Regional) and went on to compete in the Marula Stream tournament, where they topped their group and accumulated points from all games played. On May 17, 2025, the team was declared champion and represented Marula Streams in the Mopani Region, competing against other streams (Baobab, Tropical, Molototsi, and Zebras). The team claimed maximum points in all games played at Nkowankowa on June 14-15, 2025, and was declared Mopani Region Champion. Phalaborwa United then represented the Mopani Region at the Waterberg District for promotion to the ABC Motsepe Stream, competing against other regions (Waterberg, Capricorn, Sekhukhune, and Vhembe).The team emerged victorious in the Limpopo Inter-Regional Play-offs, collecting 12 points from 4 games played.
